What is prayer?

Prayer is talking with God as a child talks to his or her parent, but with a reverence that is due Him because He is the creator and sustainer of all things. (John 1:3; Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:16)

 

Prayer is our communicating with God with our praise, our thanksgiving, our needs. (Psalm 100:4; James 4:2-3)
